This is the first t-shirt I painted to cover a coffee stain (it’s under the head) based off a photo I took in Sevilla.
Painted the Jefferson memorial to commemorate a friend’s engagement.
Made several t-shirts with this trompe l’oeil style statement necklace.
Painted this saucy cat like one of my French girls.
I also designed and painted the banner for UMD Sigma Kappa Greek Homecoming week Fall 2011 competition, where our theme was Broadway!
This was my first foray into Greek Homecoming Backdrop design and painting. in Fall 2010. Sigma Kappa’s theme was Nightmare Before Christmas, and I featured elements of UMD Terps and UVA Cavaliers.
As a counselor at Timber Lake West, I painted the Red team’s plaque for the Red Carpet theme, featuring the late Joan Rivers, Brangelina, Hollywood Stars, award statuettes, paparazzi, and a film reel.

I also love to write parody songs — maybe one day you can call me Weird Hil.

If you’d like to see some amateur singing, check out my performances with Here to Sing. It’s a remarkable group considering it’s a non-audition, accessible choir. That’s a credit to our fantastic musical directors! It’s been so fun to read music again as a former flute and piano player. I also participate in Gaia Music Collective‘s One Day Choirs with a similar mission: creating a safe space to sing in community with no auditions or experience required.
